If you’ve ever sat down on a Sunday night to plan your content for the week and thought “right, this time I’m going to be consistent”, you’re not alone. Most of the founders I speak to have had that conversation with themselves more times than they’d like to admit. And it’s rarely a consistency problem, it’s a social media strategy problem.
The problem isn’t consistency. It’s direction.
You can post every single day and still get zero enquiries if what you’re posting isn’t connected to anything. No clear message, no social media strategy behind it, no content that actually leads somewhere. Just activity for the sake of it.
Social media works when it’s built around three things. A clear position, who you are and who you’re for. Content that does a specific job, whether that’s building trust, creating visibility or driving people to take action. And a system that runs even when you’re busy, because you will always be busy.
More posts without those three things is just more noise. And the algorithm doesn’t reward noise. Neither do the clients you actually want.
If your social media feels like a hamster wheel you can’t get off, the answer isn’t to run faster. It’s to build something that runs properly. That’s what we do at Strut, have a look at our social media and marketing services.
